At the Foot of the Lighthouse is an exhibition by artist Tedd Nash Pomaski, featuring his unique style of multimedia inspired graphite drawings that are actualized from their inception on video and still-photography, utilizing digital manipulation and finally hand drawing to create atmospheric pieces that capture the hidden essence of the environments and cognitive spaces that he explores. Hospital examination rooms, empty roads and ocean waves take on a surreal muted film noir effect, conveying transformed fragments of meaning from ordinary scenes of life.

An exhibition of his work will be held at Bose Pacia Gallery at 163 Plymouth Street in Vinegar Hill starting January 6th with a reception from 6-8pm and running through to February 19th, 2011. A conversation with the artist and photographer Dominica Paige will be held on February 3rd at 6:30 pm, for further information please call 212 989 7074 or email mail@bosepacia.com.
